Hello, I’m Peter Sutcliffe and as the founder and facilitator of Lifesource International..
I want to welcome you to our website. It is my belief and experience that through a daily relationship with God we find the source of a meaningful and abundant life. The bible tells us that His plan for our lives is our transformation. Our passion at Lifesource is that we may help equip you to draw life from His source. It is also my deep desire to see people empowered to change their world for good. No matter who you are, or where you are from, there is a God whose love can transform your life and those around you. This website will help you get to know more about us and our passion for people to live the transformed life. It is my sincere desire that you take the materials available on this website and use them freely for kingdom purposes that bring glory to God and benefit the lives of others.
In His love Peter
Heritage + Inheritance: The Basis For A Successful Generation
We believe the mark of a successful life is leaving a heritage that outlives you, and that heritage is good character. Inheritance is the wealth you leave for others to use and heritage is the character you leave for others to follow. This doesn’t mean being perfect, for it is in weakness and trials that character is really developed. Good character is not a destination but a process in your life. It is formed and shaped over time in good relationships with God and others. Our call is to help you gain the most in this life through your relationships with God and others, which will empower you to establish and develop your heritage. Our desire is for you to be a transformed person who is empowered to live your life as it was meant to be lived, and that is abundantly!
There are two powerful scriptures that describe this process of transformation and are a scriptural basis describing the mission of Lifesource International.
Romans 12:2 highlights the involvement of the human will in co-operating with the Spirit. As we interact with the Spirit and His word this changes our perception of our life and circumstances, i.e. it changes our mindset. Changed perception, or mindset, allows transformation to outwork through the whole of our lives. As we are transformed we are able to see the will of God for our own lives and therefore learn to walk in it.
2 Corinthians 3:18 highlights the dynamic involvement of the Spirit in the process of transformation. It shows we are not just talking about positive thinking or the fine tuning of human abilities, we are relying on an act of God. It is the Spirit who transforms. In this process of transformation and change in our world we are agents of the Spirit.
