Founded by Peter Sutcliffe and launched in 2002 Lifesource International is a resource ministry with a heart to equip people for a fulfilled and purposeful life. The passion and thinking behind this ministry comes from Peter’s 30 years of experience as church planter, pastor, bible college teacher and missionary. Between 2002 and 2004 Peter focused on researching and developing a foundational thinking course based on a set of principles developed from the Scriptures that lead to a renewed mindset. A Spirit inspired biblicaly renewed mindset empowers any person to actively engage in a process of transformation.

Peter and his wife Ann, an active and vital part of their ministry together, were married in 1978 and have 3 daughters. Peter has dedicated much of his life to studying the Word of God and blessing people world wide with the love of Jesus and the message of abundant life through relationship with Jesus. God has truly given him great insight and understanding to declare the purposes of God, which has positioned Lifesource ministry to have a prophetic edge for the 3rd Millennium. As an ordained itinerant minister with Australian Christian Churches, God is using Peter to minister to the wider body of Christ through preaching and teaching at churches, seminars and conferences in Australia and internationally.

Lifesource Passion

Our Mission: To release resources that empower transformation in your life empowering you to change your world for good

Our Mandate: To provide a biblically based framework that facilitates a renewed and changed mindset

Our Mantle: A Spirit imparted revelation of who you are in Christ that impacts your world

During 2005 Lifesource conducted ‘encounter group’ seminars to assess feedback regarding the various aspects of course content, relevance and presentation. The overwhelmingly positive response the materials confirmed the direction and thrust of the ministry.

Peter has an ongoing missionary involvement with numerous churches and groups in the Philippines. Most of these churches have been in poor or poverty areas and over that period of time God has given insights to understanding the difference between being poor and poverty. The Scriptures clearly show that victim or victor is a matter of mindset not circumstances and therefore an important aspect of breaking poverty is the mindset of people. In the latter half of 2005 we were invited to present Lifesource material to groups in the Philippines which was the launching pad for the extensive involvement with various churches, schools and business projects that we see today.

Today Lifesource International continues to work with people and projects in the Philippines and Asia and with churches and groups in Australia, including the Christian Schools Association. Our call is a prophetic proclamation emphasizing Mindset change leading to good character, which is the foundation for sustainable success that results in the transformation of the person and the changing of their world for the better. Our role is to; Equip people with tools to see change in their own lives by creating a vehicle where God can empower them; provide resources where appropriate; and provide the first ‘impact’ or ‘blessing’ to start the process.

Scriptural basis for Lifesource Two scriptures describe the basis for Lifesource International. Romans 12:2 is the operational text for what we do and 2 Corinthians 3:18 is the foundational text for what we believe God has called us to do.

The Foundation 2 Corinthians 3:18 (NLT) So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord-who is the Spirit-makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. 2 Corinthians 3:18 shows the dynamic of the Spirit in the process of transforming our minds and reminds us we are not just talking about positive thinking or the fine tuning of human ability, we are relying on an act of God, it is the Spirit who transforms. It also reminds us that in a ministry facilitating change we are merely agents of that Spirit. This transformation being by the Spirit is inward and occurs initially in the spirit of the person.

Our Calling Romans 12:2 (NIV) Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will. This scripture highlights the involvement of the human will in co-operating with the Spirit and shows us that as we co-operate with the process of transformation by the Spirit this changes our perception (or mindset) and changed perception allows this transformation to outwork through the whole of our lives. This text also shows that as a person is transformed they are able to see the will of God and ‘to see’ God at work in life.
